A’Mari Truby-McKay is a Policy Intern and also helps with the administration of Connect Corps, NextGen Policy’s digital equity pilot program. Her work with Connect Corps includes coordinating events, program buildout, and managing digital navigators from Compton College.
She is a recent Masters of Public Policy graduate from the University of California, Riverside specializing in Health and Social Policy, as well as Inequality. A’Mari received her B.A. in International Studies with a Concentration in Global Diplomacy from Louisiana State University.
A’Mari’s dedication to promoting racial equality and public service is rooted in the values of perseverance and community upliftment instilled in her by her family. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and volunteering with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
