Take Action to help defend the California Nutrition Incentive Program (CNIP)

As part of the current Budget negotiations, the Senate and Assembly voted to reinstate previously cut funding for the California Nutrition Incentive Program (CNIP), a critical program that fights food insecurity and supports California’s small and midsize farms!

CNIP funds important programs such as Market Match which provides incentives to help California’s low-income families purchase healthy and nutritious foods. It is a powerful tool in the fight against food insecurity and a tremendous economic benefit to California’s most vulnerable populations – we must continue to prioritize programs that support our frontline communities like CNIP!
